Originally from Los Angeles, Morgan Doctor is a Toronto-based composer, Juno-nominated percussionist and yoga instructor. Her impressive musical career has included collaborations with the Toronto Tabla Ensemble, Bob Wiseman and Tamara Williamson, as well as sharing the stage with such luminaries as Angelique Kidjo, The Tea Party, and Jai Uttal, Bhagavan Das.
Drawing on her background as a yoga instructor and her musical work with Gabrielle Roth, Is This Home is study of music for body movement, incorporating ambient and percussive elements, looping samples, field recordings, and a strong degree of traditional songwriting.
